Podol is one of the oldest historical districts of Kiev. Its attractions are not as advertised among tourists, but its authenticity will delight you. After all, where else in Kiev you will find many old narrow winding streets that curl under the historic Kiev hills. Podol is the best place to spend a weekend. It has everything – hills with breathtaking views, old churches, ancient houses with legends. And it is very close to the Dnieper with its embankment and bridges.
